We enjoyed staying at Brampton Farm Cottage which is a converted cow barn, off the beaten track in Herefordshire, it is obviously very old in parts. Its not a huge space but is adequate for 5 adults. The Kitchen comfortably seats 5. The living room is comfortable with exposed beams and wall length patio windows. The bedrooms are fairly basic, but clean and comfortable. The cottage is well heated by central heating only. The cottage is in a lovely location with great rural views from the living room. To the front is a paved, walled and gated patio, again with lovely views across the landscape. Road Access to the property is up a fairly steep hill on a single track road. Important to follow the owners directions as Satnav can take you up an alternative route which is rougher still. The owner was helpful and available by phone.
Bearing in mind we visited in Winter, it was a shame that the cottage didn't have a fire or log stove in the living room. Even a electrical flame effect fire would have felt more homely. In warmer weather this obviously wouldn't have been an issue.
There is no wifi. Many might consider that an advantage.
Overall we felt that the cottage was good value for money and very convenient for visiting Hereford or Hay on Wye.

The cottage was situated out of the way but for any questions the hosts were close by.
