Superbly peaceful. Hosts were a lovely couple and said hello, checked we were settled in ok and made sure we knew how to get any assist if we needed it. Otherwise left us to it - which we love. Well appointed cottage - washing machine was particularly useful. Good base for exploring Cornwall.

The adjacent field is marvellous, and the view is stunning. The welcome was lovely. Beautiful gardens. Very quiet. Games in the lounge. Plenty of hot water great to have two bathrooms. Good sized rooms with plenty of space for your things. The pub up the road does good food.
Needs updating and a deep clean. Stingy with the provisions and kitchen equipment. Furniture worn and old, understandable not to want to invest when dogs are allowed. Scrabble set was grimey. The upstairs doors didn’t close properly and so on a windy night they all rattled, disturbing us and the dogs. The motion sensor light outside was constantly on and off illuminating the bedroom so take an eye mask.
