Great location and value for money, we were in the pods outside but had lights inside and thick duvets so kept warm. Super lovely and accommodating staff, lovely bathrooms, shower and kitchen. Lovely vibe, very sociable chatted to other guests of all ages. Gorgeous view overlooking peaks from our pod windows. Cozy common room with board games. Honestly was so worth it we were really pleased with our stay!

Location and very friendly staff
The boiler was broken so we couldn't use our shower. Other facilities were made available to us

Location was great to explore local hikes and routes, and staff were friendly. Nice breakfast.
Mattress was extremely uncomfortable, woke up with a back pain and not great when you’re doing some activity which most people who stay there are. Dry room was not a room, rather some enclosed storage with barely any heat coming through. Hot water in the shower was disappearing occasionally. Breakfast was good. But yeah given that half of the price is for a comfortable sleep, I’d say that was disappointing and I’ve had better experiences at other YHAs.
