Beautiful little cottage, 2 bathrooms, peaceful and quiet, very comfortable bed. Great location for walks and exploring, good base
No instructions how to work cooker or TV. Personal views printed on back of information sheets. Parking under tree so car kept getting lots of bird poops on it

Lovely location in a semi detached cottage but feels detached as very private. Lovely garden in nature and flowers coming up everywhere with a lovely view of the farmers field. Very cosy evenings with a log fire (plenty of logs) and has a kitchen with fridge and cooker. Always hot water available for baths and washing up. It was a really chilled week and 3 minutes away is bus stops to Montrose, Aberdeen, Dundee and a few smaller locations X5 or 107, St Cyrus beach is a 10 minute walk away and well worth a visit. Stella was really nice and helpful
Pans and plates could do with a good wash but no biggy.

Fantastic place to get away from everything and relax. If you’re looking for high tech and mod cons then this isn’t for you. We knew this cottage was in the middle of nowhere and it wasn’t full of modern gadgets and luxuries but it had everything we needed for the 5 days we were there. The bed was very comfy and the house was clean and the log burner was a lovely cosy touch. The back garden had been battered by the recent storms, but that can’t be helped with how many there have been lately. The cottage is in a great location, there’s shops etc 10 mins drive away and it’s close to the beach, again a 10 min drive away. I read previous reviews about the cleanliness and safety of The Cottage, and I feel the owner has really gone out of her way to rectify this as we found the house to be clean and all safety features are in the house. We enjoyed our stay that much, we tried to extend our stay but unfortunately couldn’t due to another booking. I spoke to the owner and she was absolutely lovely! We would definitely return! Thank you for a lovely relaxing stay.
Toilet in the main bathroom hasn’t got a big flush but there is another toilet in the property, so wasn’t a massive issue but had to think of something.
