The location is perfectly situated on the edge of the old town and every staff member we came across was beautiful.
The beds could have been larger but that’s only if we’re really being picky.( I’m 5’9 for reference)

My husband and I wanted to beat the heat and travel to a city we'd never been to before, so we looked for hotels with air conditioning in Dresden. So happy that we found the Hofgärtnerhaus!The location was very close to the river and to the Altstadt/Frauenkirche, so it was easy to get around on foot. We arrived on the weekend when the front desk is closed, but check-in was very easy thanks to clear instructions. It was nice to have the option to pay via bank transfer or in the office on Monday upon our check-out. Our floor had two kitchenettes where we could store our groceries, enjoy tea/coffee, and even had water available for purchase, so we didn't have to carry bottles from the store. Best of all: the AC worked wonderfully and we were able to explore the city and take breaks so we didn't overheat. If we come back, we would definitely look for rooms here first!

Amazing location- near park overlooking the Elbe and just few steps from historical part of Dresden and Terrace. Very close to all landmarks- Frauenkirche, Zvinger, Royal Palace. The house has its own small garden with lots of roses, the terrace where you can have drinks or meal, kitchenette on every floor with fridge, tea and coffee maker, dishes, glasses, cutlery and dishwasher.
Our double room did not have an air conditioner and it was above +30:(( We did’t realize that at time of our booking!!! Apparently on Booking.com they have “Double room” and “Double Room with air conditioner “, but at time we booked it the second option was not show up (maybe all rooms of this category were booked out) Very disappointed that luck of A/C was not specifically mentioned anywhere!!! Not even fan provided…
Room doesn’t have its own fridge and safe…

Location is perfect !
No air conditioner!
Some places are dirty. Something that look like blood stains on the window blinds. Curtains can cover only third part of the window, so they are useless and you should use these dirty blinds.
Nothing modern in this hotel.
The price so high is only for location.
