Great location, great view, lousy mattress

Great location and view, especially since there was a supermoon our last night there.

I brought a 96-year-old friend to Gulf Shores for a bucket list trip. She had not been to the beach in 33 years, and she and I had a wonderful 4 days in Gulf Shores. The condo had a great location and served our needs well. But I do have a couple suggestions to make it better. Is the 10 digit code really necessary on the front door lock? By the time I had it memorized, it was time to leave. I had to carry a piece of paper with me with the numbers written in large letters so I could read them without my reading glasses. But then without my glasses I couldn't see the numbers on the lock, especially in the daytime when there's no light there. The broken ice maker, hence no ice, was a bit of an inconvenience. So was the lack of coat hangers in the closet of the bedroom with 2 beds. The master bedroom closet only had a few, and my travel companion could have used more. The laundry room closet could use a light. Thank goodness I had a flashlight and could prop it so it shone on the machine. Nice machine by the way! And last but certainly not least is that the bed facing the door in the larger bedroom is HORRIBLE! After 4 nights on it, I am going to need either a massage or a trip to the chiropractor or both. As much as I enjoyed the view from #667, there's no way I would stay in it again unless I knew for sure it had new mattresses.

Of course the view. Proximity to shops

Ice maker blocked. Only 1 pan to cook with. Small love seat. No extra linens. Trash under dresser and nic neck behind dresser. Dirty ceiling fans blinds were dusty and mold on bottom of shower door construction going on

It was a family atmosphere! which we love!

We loved the access to the beach! We love that it isn't a super huge hotel which means the beach isn't over crowded!

The elevators, The were a little out dated maybe need a tune up. But they worked and got us where we needed to be!

Superb

Unit was nicely decorated and very clean. The views were amazing! Definitely worth what we paid

Building was older. Elevator was scary. Room was smaller than it appeared in the pictures. There was no pull out bed in the living room as shown it the description.

Great location, apartment is just as listed! Didn’t want to leave at all!

Bring extra garbage bags/paper towels Toilet paper sucked.

The size of the rooms were nice. Loved the walk in shower

Definitely need to put locks on the inside of both doors. It locks but not from the inside and the balcony door doesn’t have a lock at all. My 2 year old opened the front door and took off outside. That could have been really bad.

Great condo and location. Loved that it was a small complex. Location was great!

The location and size of the complex was great. Accessibility to the beach and restaurants was great.

When we arrived the floor hadn’t been swept so there was a lot of sand in the condo. The elevator was slow and questionable and times. One night it was completely inoperable. The condo itself was a little dated but served it’s purpose. The mattress in the master or front room was a little worn but manageable.
