Breakfast ans location was great. We also liked all the old fashion items in the lobby (Old Ericsson phone etc.)
The double beds were basically 2 singelbeds moved together. As the floor was slippry, my partner fell in between them when we tried to cuddle up sleeping. No injuries, just laighs. Still, these beds are not made for people that wants to "cuddle" for real...

Firstly, the hotel makes you feel that you are having time in history..
Then, room was very clean, breakfast was perfect.. and I had the most relaxing shower I’ve ever had in a hotel room..
No need to search more for a hotel when you are at Haparanda.

The old building is really nice and an attraction itself in a small town nordic like Haparanda
I didn’t like the room, it was small and the bathroom was pretty nasty. Not in the sense that it wasn’t cleaned, but the sink and the shower weren’t in their “gold era”. They definitely need un update.
The room got nothing to do with the old, historical building that I naively supposed that we will stay, according to the information I got from booking. Instead we stayed in a new building that was buid some years ago.
Also, the restaurant and the bar were closed and the options around the hotel were poorly. Not a friendly location for travelers. Especially for those with kids.
