We arrived late at night and the staff were there to greet us with hot towels and tea. They showed us to our room and then cooked us dinner. The food was lovely and fresh and served by Sam who was very smiley. We also got to meet Luna and Leo the parrot and cockatoo!
The room was spacious. The beds were very comfortable.
The next morning we had breakfast which was delicious. Our train wasn’t until the afternoon so Sam showed us around their organic garden. The surroundings are beautiful so we went for a short walk before returning to the hotel where we were allowed to relax in our room before leaving for our train. We ended up running late to our train as we struggled to get a driver on the Pick me app so the hotel staff arranged a tuk tuk to transport our luggage from Hatton to Ella. They checked in with us throughout and made sure the luggage arrived safely.
A special mention to Sam who was so friendly and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was the best it could be.

An exceptional hotel, the building is set in the tea hills of Hatton and has fantastic views. The staff are friendly, happyl and polite, their English is very good. They helped us with onward travel and were very helpful. The room was enormous and had everything we needed. The beds were comfy. We opted to eat in the hotel and both dinner and breakfast was tasty and plentiful. I highly recommend staying here.
