Amazing stay in Vourvourou!

We had a wonderful stay, everything was perfect for our needs. The apartment was spacious, in excellent condition and very clean. The bedding and towels (which are high quality cotton) were changed during our 6 night stay. Everything is very modern and have I mentioned clean? :) The accomodation has a huge grass yard and sufficient parking spaces (covered). It is a 2 minute walk to the beach and a great starting point from which to visit all the other amazing beaches in the area (by car). Be sure to try Kavourotrypes (Orange Beach), Armenistis Beach and Fava Beach. If you want to stay local, a short walk from the apartment (or you can drive, of course) on the beach is Nassau beach bar, where you can rent an umbrela and two sunbeds for 10 euros, order nice cold drinks (try their homemade lemonade) and eat lunch - everything is delicious and the service is perfect. The local traditional market in the area is in Nikiti, open only on Friday. It gets really crowded, so try to be there around 8-8:30 for the best exeprience - it is worth it! For restaurants, try Garlic and Gorgona in Vourvourou, and Aristos Fish Restaurant in Ormos Panagias (6 min drive). For a day trip - go to Petralona Cave & Anthropological Museum, it is amazing! We really had a wonderful time at Aegialis Apartments in Vourvourou and are looking forward to staying there again!

The apartment is somewhat close to the main road through Vourvourou and you can sometimes hear the traffic, but it's nothing very disturbing. Also, we were unlucky enough to have really noisy neighbours, one family on the left and one on the right, both with very small children who were being noisy in th morning from 7am and at night till 11-11:30pm. The parents were not at all concerned about this and didn't even try to be mindful of other tourists. This was the only thing that really spoiled our vacation a little, but it is in no way the accomomdation's fault, just other people's lack of common sense and respect.

Perfectly relaxing for families

I am really fond of everything although I am not a person who is always satisfied. We traveled with three children; there usually occur practical problems with such large groups, but here we had none. The host carefully takes care of every practical need as well as of your real pleasure. We stayed in double room apartment. Comfortable balcony with great view. Distance from the sea just one courtyard. Quiet and pieceful area with nice nature, oleanders reach the sky. The sea is fine for children and you can truly relax... I'm sorry because we stayed only four days here so we couldn't make the most of all the advantages.
