Gianfranco was the perfect host and his B&B is charming. We stayed here 2 nights. Upon our arrival, Gianfranco gave us an orientation to Naples from the balcony, pointing out neighborhoods and major sites. He even made a reservation in one of the best neighborhood pizza restaurants. The room was very comfortable and clean. In the morning, Gianfranco made us a coffee and even had gone out for fresh croissants (thank you!). we talked about the plans for the day, and he gave us tips and recommendations including several restaurants nearby. We would stay here again if returning to Naples. If you prefer a local experience close to major tourist sites and good transportation (subway, ferry) over touristy hotels in crowded streets, stay here!
Nothing, except the Naples heat, and that was out of everyone’s control!

Fantastic location in the middle of everywhere. Super friendly host. Very easy access. Bed is comfortable. Room has its own AC that works well! I slept great. Private bathroom clean and convenient.
I have no complaints. Zero. Will definitely return.

Accommodation was clean, tidy and well located for the city centre and port.
The owner kindly provided (gratis) a whole, large bottle of water, when we requested some.
The owner failed to send detailed instructions on how to find the accommodation within the complex. Additionally, he was not around for our arrival, nor did he reply to any of our messages via the provided contact details, and we eventually found the place ONLY with help from some very kind people who worked in the complex. Otherwise we were effectively left stranded! When we eventually found the accommodation, we were still unable to gain entry as no-one answered the door! We had to wait another 15mins, or so, before a lady (owner's friend) turned up to let us in. Altogether a very frustrating customer welcome!
Also, the info on BOOKING.COM stated the owner was "on the grounds", suggestive (to us) of a nearby building, but he actually lives INSIDE the appartment, within which he rents out rooms. This felt very awkward to us, and nothing like we have ever experienced before. As a minimum BOOKING.COM should make this arrangement very clear in the accommodation decsription detail (as we certainly would not have booked had we known).
The double room we had was quite small, and we could hear noise/talking from adjacent room(s) at times, although thankfully not till late at night, during our short stay.
