Nestled in Seaside, this lovely house for $809 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. KING, QUEEN, QUEEN SLEEPER SOFA, BUNK ROOM (Twin over queen, bunkroom sleeps 3) PET FRIENDLY UP TO 70 LBS. Located on West Ruskin Street, Greenpeace is a popular family-friendly two-story beach cottage in the heart of Seaside, FL. The cottage is in a prime location - less than a block from the white-sand beach and emerald water of the Gulf of Mexico and Seaside's town center. Seaside's town center is just one block away within walking distance to over 35 shops and dining options. The Seaside Amphitheater also just one block away offers weekly events and a Farmer's market every Saturday. Greenpeace is within easy walking distance to the beach access, just 115 feet or a 1-minute walk. Upon arrival you have the added benefit of a private driveway with off street parking for two vehicles. A screened in porch runs the length of the front of the home and welcomes you with outdoor dining, a perfect hang out spot for family meals al fresco or a morning coffee spot. The open floor plan on the first level is warm and welcoming! Furnishings were recently updated including a queen sleeper sofa, loveseat, large mounted flat screen TV, and comfortable chairs for plenty of seating. The adjacent dining area features a farm picnic table with bench seating and opens to a renovated kitchen. The renovated kitchen has all stainless steel appliances and is perfect for families to cook and stay connected while dining in. Also on this first level you have the first bedroom, the generous primary king bedroom with ensuite renovated bathroom. The king primary has additional seating for two, plenty of storage, and a private large mounted flat screen TV. The ensuite renovated marble bathroom has dual vanities, plenty of storage, and a glass enclosed walk in shower. This sunny, window-filled home has two more bedrooms and a RENOVATED full bath upstairs. The second bedroom upstairs has a Queen-sized bed, flat screen mounted TV, large walk-in closet, and private access to the bathroom and outdoor porch. Also upstairs, a third bedroom features a recent custom built-in bunk with a queen down and a twin up, built in storage, dresser for more storage, and its owner-mounted flat screen TV. This custom bunk room sleeps three in all and has access to the furnished outdoor porch with the same wonderful views. This open air porch runs the length of the front of the home with chaise Adirondack seating for two and an Adirondack rocker for one more, the perfect space to unwind with an evening cocktail. When you're ready to explore, the town center offers something for everyone: from famous 30A Airstream row with over five gourmet trailers for food-to-go options, the gourmet grocery Modica Market, or the local book store Sun Dog Books. We've visited Seaside many times and have enjoyed each visit. The best part about this house was the location. A very short walk to the beach which is just across the street. This is so nice when traveling with small kids (4yo & 2yo). The property was clean and well maintained. The beds were comfortable and the house generally well appointed. The only downside was the size of the kitchen - we like to enjoy lunch & dinner at home. The size of the kitchen limited our meals & what we could cook.

We had an awesome visit. Homeowner's does a great job: meeting us upon arrival, providing coffee, beach towels and dish soap etc. to make us feel welcome. They also came quickly to repair the closet door when it was off its track.

This beautiful cottage was perfect for us and our two adult kids. Living room was spacious with comfortable couches and lots of seating. We never used our car - cottage is at ideal location just a block away from the Seaside shops and restaurants. Management company was very responsive.

This is our fourth or fifth visit to Greenpeace and you simply can’t beat the location — great proximity to beach, pool, and town — and I love that we can bring our dog. This time, though, the house was a bit worn and in need of an update. On the plus side, they had replaced the mattress in the master and it’s quite nice. But other areas needed lots of attention. For example, in the kitchen there were no pot holders and the pots and pans were in pretty bad condition (lots of scratches on the bottom nonstick coating). The washing machine timer broke and the workman showed up both to l diagnose and then fix the issue without any notification (glad we were all home we that time otherwise it would’ve been awkward and uncomfortable to know someone had been in our place without prior notification). The light fixture above the main table had become detached from the ceiling when we arrived (no structural issue but looked a little shabby, so we told them to leave it until after given that we had a number of service issues on the washing machine). Maybe this was all attributable to renting at the end of the High season...but definite TLC is needed.

We had a wonderful 5 days at Greenpeace! The cottage was super close to the beach and the shops and restaurants of Seaside. Our group included my parents and my husband and our 3 kids (ages 8, 5, and 2) and there was plenty of room for everyone. My only two suggestions are both kid related... it would be nice if there were more plastic plates/cups/bowls in the kitchen so we wouldn't have to worry as much about the kids accidentally breaking something. Also, the dresser in the bedroom with the two twin beds should be anchored to the wall. It's pretty tall and when kids open all the drawers (as they seem to always do!!) it becomes a bit unstable. Other than those two minor issues I thought the cottage was great and we would definitely stay again!!

We assumed it was from the area rugs getting damp. It may be time to change those out. We would definitely rent Greenpeace again!!

Everything about this house was exactly what we wanted for our yearly trip to Seaside. Proximity to the town square, beach and other beaches is perfect. The house itself is immaculate and has plenty of space for the six people we had staying there. The only thing I would say needs adjusting is the beach view portion of the house. Either the magnolia's need to be trimmed back to open up the view or that portion of the listing needs to be removed. Seeing the ocean from the upstairs balcony is virtually impossible.
