Spectacular views, good space and facilities in the house

The view, space, buggy included.

Run down. No face washers, cockroaches in bathroom, bed bugs or sort sort of bug in the main bedroom, a family of possums living in the main bathroom roof and main bedroom roof making lots of noise from 4-5am , run down buggy

amazing view, great facilities. with a freshen up to the apartment and some safety measures it could be exceptional.

the view is absolutely spectacular. easy access to the marina.

for a family with small kids (toddlers) it’s far from ideal. no baby gate at the top of a steep flight of stairs makes it extremely dangerous. also, charging $60 for baby seats that look like they are 20 years old is a bit of a farce.

Great location with a beautiful view.

Location is great. Beautiful view and very quiet. Edge pool is lovely. Very convenient to have a buggy with the apartment. The apartment is large and great for a family.

This apartment needs an upgrade, it is tired. Quiet a few maintenance issues which I have addressed with the managing agent. Fan in main bedroom is wobbly and rather dangerous, light over ensuite sink does not work, light fridge does not work, DVD player does not work, fridge beeped regularly, ironing board needs replacing, and in general needs a good spring clean and freshen up.

Disappointing

The views were good.

The Apartment was NOT luxurious as advertised. It was a very worn and tired . Shower screens in both bathrooms wouldn't close one in ensuite was hanging off the glass panel at the top very dangerous. Furniture needs a major update l would place it out on hard rubbish pick up. The buggy supplied had a broken seat belt clip probably not road worthy also you need to plug in 2 leads to charge it wasn't told this on arrival got stuck and had to push it when rang up was then told about 2 leads. Hamilton Island was fantastic but we will not be returning to Shorelines Apartment will definitely find somewhere else to stay next time.

Absolutely disgusting; our highlight was that the airline only charged up $600 to change our flights

The views were great. The unit was large and nice layout.

The place was so disgusting we had to change our flights and leave early. We tolerated the shortcomings of things like dirty floors / walls / doors, moldy curtains, worn out gross furniture, water damage to the ceiling, worn out appliances and cookware, door handles falling off, broken dishwasher, 30 year old ceiling fans that were too load to use and propane BBQ that had a gas leak. We even tolerated a few cockroaches by using the spray the owner had left for us - even one that crawled on a friend and woke them up in the night. On the third night I was woken up by an extremely load ceiling fan, I turned on the lights in the master to get up to shut it off and cockroaches scurried in all directions. The place is infested. I could not go back to sleep as it was one of the most disgusting situations I've ever stayed. I immediately contacted the property manager and explained the situation and began working on plans to transfer to a different property or change our flights. The handyman arrived and said everything I was concerned with wasn't a problem and said many times there were no signs of cockroaches. This was very annoying as he jiggled the door handle that was that was holding on by its last thread. The property manager provided a response to me that none of our concerns were valid. She also explained they were off island and couldn't check it out and also said the owner had a long list of things that needed done. The photos used of the property are not of the actual property. The photos are a lie. The property does have great views but it is not waterfront and there is no reasonable access to a waterfront. The pool is good distance away and requires traversing about 6 flights of stairs. This is only the second time in my life a rental was so disgusting I couldn't sleep in it. The owner responded by saying our concerns were not valid but he would offer a "act of goodwill" by refunding 50% of the 3 canceled nights.

Hamilton is a great location for a 4-5 day stay and this unit at Shorelines met every expectation ..

Beautiful location & spacious apartment

Heaps of room, split over 3 levels, definitely needed the complimentary buggy. Balconies were huge & bbq

The infinity was a steep walk with over 100 steps up & down. Couldn't extend checkout past 10am & our 2pm flight delayed to 4.30pm, so it was along time with no where to go

Disappointing accommodation

#4 is very run down compared to other properties we stayed at in Hamilton Island in previous years. Very disappointing given the amount of money you pay. Everything in the property needs updating (from kitchen utensils to furniture, even shower doors don's shut). The couch was impossible to sit on - filthy and smelled like sweat. This was the only remaining apartment to book for the busy period and there is a reason for that!

Love Hamilton Island but apartment was a let down

location and layout of the apartment. Edge pool was nice. having a buggy was great.

Needs a serious upgrade and a total overhaul of your cleaning contract, just not good enough.

The pungent smell of mould from the moment you walked in. The ensuite toilet seat was busted and we had to call maintenance to fix it. The window furnishings in all rooms are mouldy and unacceptably dirty. For the price you pay for this place (Shorelines Number 3) the product delivery needs to be upgraded. Take the property offline, spend some money, change your cleaning contractor and deliver a product inline with the price you charge.

The person was waiting for us at the airport.

We had to wait an extra hour to check in as the cleaning was still going the check in times and the floor was mopped with a direct mop…

Very relaxing time with great views.

The property was spacious, with excellent views, master bathroom was fantastic.

The pool advertised was inaccessible (too many steep stairs) and the spa wasn’t heated.

amazing week on the island.

amazing view, spacious, great layout, cheeky cockatoos

could be slightly updated, alot of items looking and feeling old (considering 4 star advertisement) cracked sink, sunken couch, no shampoo for guests. Just small things need slightly improved and touched up, it was a great place and stay anyway.

The apartment needs a good paint and Spruce up. Its tired and the lounge needs to go. It is disgusting. For what I paid for a week it should be in pristine condition!

Very good

We loved the view from the balconies. Very spacious apartments and nicely furnished. Loved the large fridge.

There were spider webs up high that need to be cleaned up periodically (suggest six months). The bottom of the washing machine came loose and we had to contact maintenance for repairs. The toilet seats are loose and need to be tightened. The lead for the battery charger needs to be replaced.

Superb

Great location. Spacious large modern apartment. The edge pool was amazing! Having the buggy included was also handy . The hosts were fantastic very friendly and helpful.

A few utensils and items need replacement . BBQ and fans need a good clean.
