Plumeria Maldives

Our stay at Plumeria Maldives exceeded expectations. We were warmly welcomed and felt at home right away. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. The food was delicious with a great variety of local and international dishes. The staff truly stood out—friendly, professional, and always attentive, making our stay feel personal and special. Excursions and diving were well organized, with stunning reefs and marine life making every trip memorable. For authentic hospitality, beautiful surroundings, and great value, we highly recommend Plumeria Maldives. We left with wonderful memories and hope to return soon.

We stayed in room Nr. 155 and there was a foul smell in the bathroom that won't go away.

The food was excellent, with a great variety of delicious dishes that exceeded my expectations. One of the highlights was the amazing views—absolutely breathtaking and perfect for relaxing and taking in the surroundings. The hotel also had a wonderful atmosphere with great vibes throughout, making it a comfortable and enjoyable place to stay. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for great hospitality, delicious food, stunning views, and a positive, relaxing experience. I would definitely love to visit again! 🌟

We stayed at Plumeria and had a mixed experience. There were several things we really enjoyed, but unfortunately the issues we encountered on our first day left a poor first impression and affected the rest of our stay. Positives: We were welcomed with a cold towel and fresh watermelon juice on arrival, which was a nice touch after travelling. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and slippers and vanity kits were provided. The resort offers plenty of entertainment including table tennis, snooker, nurse shark feeding in the evenings, complimentary water sports, music at the restaurant, and afternoon tea and snacks on selected days. There were always plenty of sun loungers available. The buffet breakfast included in our package had an excellent variety and was one of the highlights of our stay. The à la carte restaurant served very good food at reasonable prices, with a wide selection including burgers, pizzas, seafood, Asian dishes, mocktails, non-alcoholic beers, wine, and many other beverages. One of the biggest highlights was that the hotel arranged a day trip for us to Cinnamon Velifushi Resort after we requested it. This was an incredible experience and definitely worth doing. After most guests checked out on our third day, the hotel became much quieter and we found the atmosphere far more relaxing and enjoyable.

Check-in felt quite disorganised. Different staff members approached us for different tasks, and after requesting a room upgrade we were told they would check availability, but we never received any update despite leaving our WhatsApp number. Guests were asked to attend an information meeting at 7:00 pm. Unfortunately, we already had plans and missed it. It would be much more convenient if this information could be provided individually during check-in or in writing, as guests can easily miss important details. The staff member escorting us to our room got lost several times before eventually finding it, which didn't create the best first impression. When we entered the room it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. We understand it was a smoking room, as there was an ashtray on the balcony, but the room should have at least been aired out or sprayed before new guests arrived. After a long day of travelling, we discovered there was no hot water and the shower had very low water pressure. Although maintenance attended several times, the issue wasn't properly resolved for hours, and reception repeatedly took down our details without providing updates. Eventually, we discovered that the bathroom basin tap had to be turned to the left in order for the shower to produce hot water—something we had never encountered before. While this solved the hot water issue, the water pressure remained poor. Because these problems occurred on our first day, they unfortunately affected our excitement and overall first impression of the hotel. Communication at reception could sometimes be difficult, as the English spoken by some of the reception staff was limited. The room only had one power outlet beside the bed, and our chargers constantly fell out, making it difficult to charge multiple devices. Although there were many sun loungers available, most were located in shaded areas on an elevated platform above the beach.

I would like to give my highest recommendation to Plumeria Maldives. My stay here was truly unforgettable, and I felt like I was at home from the moment I arrived until the day I left. A special thank you to Yun, Su, Krishni, Sai, Sara, Sino, and Jeeva and many other from other teams. Their kindness, warmth, and exceptional service made every meal a wonderful experience. They always greeted us with genuine smiles and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and happy. The entire staff at Plumeria Maldives was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. Their hospitality made our holiday extra special.
