Loved the location. Being surrounded by nature was serene. Cute studio with more than enough amenities with a very spacious bathroom. The heat was high during the day so thankfully Mr Penny gave us an additional fan upon request. The trees helped cool down the temperature at night. My wife and I had wonderful sleeps.
We had one of the smaller rooms but as we booked a studio that’s expected.

We loved the location and how quiet it was. Like a little jungle oasis with a soundtrack of insects and birds. So peaceful. Natural simplicity is my cup of tea. Loved talking to Penny and hearing a bit of his story and the history behind the place.
I'm not an AC person, and can tolerate hot temperatures with a cold shower and a fan before sleeping, but my partner is a bit less tolerant. He had a bit of a tough time but was still able to sleep! In retrospect I would ask if there was a stand up fan available for use - in order to compliment the overhead fan. A pretty minor thing "to not like'.

The nature and the cottage itself
Every morning the employees would be talking loud and watching video’s, at 7 in the morning. You can hear everything through the cottage walls and windows, because the windows are made from wood and can’t close fully, which you also don’t want because the place does not has AC. There were no curtains on the bathroom window so I had to put a towel over it because anyone could have seen me in the bathroom showering. I also felt like I was the only one on the property together with a couple, it felt really weird because there are a lot of cottages, as if something was not quite right. At the end, I was not asked about my stay and if I enjoyed it, so weird. Not worth it for the price.
