It was gorgeous!

Booked here to stay for one night so we could have a wine tasting as my husband was driving for this part of our trip. We were made very welcome, such a friendly team & thoroughly enjoyed the short tour & tasting. The accommodation was clean & comfortable & great to have the use of the pool & the lovely garden terrace. The Bistro meal was also really lovely!
The only thing would be that the breakfast was a little disappointing. Some eggs would have improved it for me but this is subjective

We visited the Douro Valley for one night, and Quinta do Tedo was exactly what we were looking for. A small, charming winery with beautiful rooms, a lovely breakfast, and excellent facilities.
A great bonus is the complimentary wine tour and tasting, which we really enjoyed. The pool is also perfect for relaxing and unwinding.
In the evening, I highly recommend the winery’s restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, with very reasonable prices, and the staff were friendly and provided excellent service.
We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Quinta do Tedo to our friends!

One small area for improvement would be the air conditioning in the room. The A/C downstairs seemed quite old and was not cooling the room sufficiently. Upstairs, where the single bed is located, there was both a ceiling fan and a standing fan, but unfortunately neither was powerful enough to keep the area cool. As a result, it became quite warm during the night, which made sleeping less comfortable. An additional A/C unit upstairs would make a big difference.

The grounds were pretty stunning!
Location was super far from everything. Almost felt like I was a prisoner. Hard to get a ride from this place. Only meal is by the Michelin chef which if fine for one meal but by the second night I just wanted something normal.
