Good breakfast and nice room and good TV. Room was simple but comfortable. Host, Simon was great, a wealth of knowledge and an overall nice guy.

Nothing to complain

We went in the off-season, so was very quiet, but appreciated that everything was setup perfectly for us, and we had a lovely breakfast as well! The location is 5-10 minutes walk from the centre, there's parking on street, and importantly it's in a charming neighborhood that allows you to get a good night's sleep. Bed very comfortable as well!

The accommodation was very well maintained and exceeded our expectations. Simao is a great host, he has awesome tips on what to do and what restaurants to go in the region.

My wife and I just returned home from our 2+ week trip to Portugal and Hungary. We both wanted to thank the proprietor of Blue Door for all your help and your warm hospitality. The accommodations were nothing less than superb - clean, comfortable, quaint, quiet, close to the beach and we really enjoyed your terrace for breakfast. But most importantly? We REALLY appreciate your great suggestions on where to go/what to do!

perhaps it would be possible to have more beach inventory. It would also be good if place had an iron.

Simao is a lovely host, who gives terrific advice about the surrounding area and the to-go-to restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay and would have stayed longer if we could !

The room was extra clean, neat and tidy. Everything in the house and rooms is super thought out and you will find everything you need for a great stay. The host is very helpful and knowlegable about everything in Lagos. So if you have no actual plan or your plans have changed, don't worry the host may just provide you with some really great ideas! Recommend! :)

The host was extremely friendly and attentive and gave great recommendations. The room was small but comfortable. Loved the roof top terrace! Easy to walk to the main tourist area and parking on the street was easy.

Lovely breakfast on the rooftop. Free parking on the street in front of the apartment. Very good value for money.

Not very private. Close quarters with other guests. Host is in and around often. If you enjoy privacy may not be your place.

The place was clean

I took the single bed room with external bathroom. I knew it would be small but didn't expect it to be at the reception area and of course didn't expect breakfast would be served outside my door And the toilet to be near the kitchen.

Simao is very friendly he was always giving us tips on what to do around Algarve, the breakfast he prepares for you every day is very nice and we loved to have it on the terrace. The room was very clean and also the bathroom. It was very well located and we highly recommend for you to book here :)

The hotel is located close to the city centre and not so far away from the train station, which was great because we did not use any public transport. It has a nice terrace where you can take up your breakfast. The breakfast menu was pretty standard but good. The rooms were cleaned every day. Also, the hotel provided beach towels and an umbrella for use while staying at the hotel, and given that Lagos is a coastal city those came in handy.

The only bad thing that I can tell about this place is that it has late check-in fees of 10 euro after 9 pm and 20 euro for check-ins after 10 pm.

Great location, good street parking available, and nice clean space. Had everything we needed for the beach, great recommendations from the host, and as a curly girl, I really appreciated the blow dryer with the diffuser. Nice breakfast.

Yes the shower is tiny but that is true for almost every place we stayed throughout the country. Expect small bathrooms in Portugal.

Simão is very friendly and has very nice recommandations about the Algarve coast He was very helpful and waited for us when we came back late from an activity for breakfast!
