The staff were exceptional. Muhammad the concierge and Nadia on reception helped me navigate my first day in Pakistan with such patience. The hotel was a haven of support and comfort.

The staff was courteous and ambiance was good. The room was comfortable.
I stayed at this hotel often from 2002 to 2007 and again from 2013 to 2018 during my time as MPA Punjab and Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Punjab. Returning after a break, I found the food quality had dropped sharply, which was a major disappointment because I remember when it was excellent and the restaurant called Lahore Gates was full of people from all backgrounds enjoying high-quality meals. There used to be a good selection of salads, main courses, and desserts, but this time the food was very poor; I quickly developed nausea and diarrhoea and could not sleep all night after eating there before bed. I would never expect such food from a hotel that has been close to my heart for over two decades.
