About this hotel
About four hundred years ago, the present village was built. Over the years, many families in Dana village have moved to the nearby village of Qadissiya in search of better jobs, schools, and housing. The village is now abandoned.

The views were amazing. The staff/hosts truly make this place special. Dinner and breakfast were plentiful and delicious. It was so nice to have a shared dinner time and sit with other guests and talk about sightseeing plans and exchange experiences.
Because of the current conflict bookings were low so we got to pick whatever room we wanted.
This place is unique, if you want 5 star perfection this isnt the place for you. If your open minded and want something special they have a wonderful story of how they revived this little village.
The fresh smoothie from the little shop is delicious.
There is alot of noise at night from local dogs barking and a very close mosque. This didnt bother me and my husband's ear plugs worked a treat.

The hotel is located at the highest point in Dana village and our room had stunning views from Wadi Dana. It is an excellent place to rest, recharge and enjoy nature. Salma cooked us delicious meal, Ahmad showed us around the natural reserve. Congrats Hazem on a wonderful team and hotel.
The property is a bit old but its charm compensates. In any case, the place is comfortable and worth the visit.

We really enjoyed our time at the Dana Tower Hotel! The view from the accommodation over Dana valley is incredible and the food cooked by Selma is delicious. Unfortunately due to the regional dynamics, there were very few tourists so the staff were so kind to let us choose our own room despite paying for the most basic one - we got an incredible, private suite with a wonderful view and balcony and this made all the difference to our stay. The place also has many lovely terraces to relax on and have a snack or drink from the local store across the road. Again, we had the included breakfast and paid for the dinner, both were great and I highly recommend. The hotel also offers to do laundry. The hotel provided paid tours and guided hikes which we did not take advantage of as we had our own car. All in all, a great choice in Dana.
From viewing the property, not all rooms are great. Many of the cheaper options are small, dark and dusty without their own bathroom.
