Location

Check in is a joke, strung along until the owner gets there as there's no reception. The owner overcharged me for extra guests and a month later I am still trying to get my money back. They will contact you almost immediately if it involves taking an extra payment, but trying to get money refunded is a completely different story. Was told a week and a half ago money would be refunded but still nothing. Avoid this place and book with a reputable serviced apartment provider or hotel.

No Pool!!!!! No View!!!! False description. Apartment nice and location great but very disappointed.

Location was great and the apartment itself was roomy and comfortable as described and convenient to everything.

It is advertised and is still advertised as having access to a swimming pool. There is no pool, they used to have access to the hotel next doors pool but no longer do but are still today showing swimming pool pictures in their description on here. The owner reimbursed us $50 for no pool access which we excepted hoping that they would correct their description for future people staying here but they haven’t. A pool is what we always make sure is a part of our holiday accommodation. View is also not there, it is hidden by trees, apparently a view when the tree loses its leaves, if it does. Apartment nice and location great but description of what you are getting is very inaccurate. Very Disappointed!!!!!

Spaciousness Near the beach

The apartment was supposed to have a sea or bay view but the view was only available from the balcony. The car park was poorly designed and difficult to navigate for bigger cars.

Good location but not value for money.

Good location

The second bedroom looks like it was not meant to be a bedroom. It has no room to move in it. No bedside table or storage space. The only dining area was at the kitchen bench. Very high bath and hard to climb into for a shower.

NO SEA VIEW. LOCKED 2ND BEDROOM. Does NOT meet what is described in listing.

REASONS NOT TO STAY 1. NO SEA VIEW – Even though it is listed as ‘Sea View’ the unit is on the side street, ground level facing the park. To quote the manager Clint ‘Walk onto the veranda, put you head over the railing and look left, there are glimpses of water’. 2. NO SECOND BEDROOM – Listed as ‘Entire Unit’ with 2 bedrooms. The 2nd bedroom is locked and if you want to use it you have to pay extra. 3. 3 MINUTE HOT SHOWER – Be prepared to have quick showers as the hot water only lasts for 3 minutes, then you must wait 20 minutes for it to heat again. 4. CREDIT CARD SURCHARGE – Quoted price but paid more. Again, Manager Clint said there is a surcharge if paying by card. Don’t know how else to pay as there no manager on site and everything is done online. 5. MISSING BLIND IN LOUNGE ROOM – The unit is at street level, and everyone looks in so when lying on the lounge make sure you are covered. 6. LIMITED WIFI – The WIFI tends to drop in and out. Very unreliable. Overall, the unit is large, but very basic and rundown. No complimentary shampoo and conditioner, no washing up liquid, knobs on gas cooker broken. Not advertised for what is really is and I felt that I had been conned by the listing. I did read other people’s reviews and most people are dissatisfied. I wished I had taken note of them and kept scrolling.

Geelong Waterfront stay excellent walk distance

good location and close by to waterfront

No confirmation information had trouble with owner and booking.com but Owner is very good came straight away after one hour later couldn’t work out the issue with email and show me around access and what is happening so which is ok

Would not recommend. Overpriced, the only redeeming feature was its location.

no internet working. very few kitchen utensils, plates and cups. no instructions how to access to pool. parking was ridiculously hard, don’t go in a big car. broken blinds no fly screens not very clean shower kept going hot and cold.

Would stay again but we would need wifi.

The location was amazing!

We had no wifi at all, having said that, John was contactable but unfortunately couldn’t help us connect, so no Netflix etc.

Very disappointing. Location is great though.

We gave our friends the double bed and THEIR ensuite/bathroom looked very nice and spacious.

Even though we sent in details requesting 2 double beds to accommodate 4 adults my partner & I walked in to see 2 single beds and bunk beds in the second bedroom. So nobody obviously paid any attention to the completed Form. After complaining the only thing they could do was push 2 beds together but there was no double bed linen used. They chucked the single bed linen on. The set up to get into the accommodation was extremely bad. There is no such thing as a Reception area. We managed to get into a space that contained Key lockers and that was as far as we could go... We used a phone but a man called John was not user-friendly. He kept saying due to not knowing the sleeping arrangements they could not set up the room properly. I told him I had emailed the Form through informing all of this and he said he did not receive it. He went onto say we should of booked directly with them - not using Booking.com. We were able to enter our room purely because a staff member was existing the building and heard our dilemma. He talked to this John guy and we finally got taken to a room. Not only was the bedding wrong there was dirty washing left in the washing machine, cigarette butts on the outside table, door handles fell off when you opened the cupboard and while adjusting the water temperature during showering the cold water tap handle fell off. The room we booked stated a "sea view". We looked onto a grassed park. Someone did say if you lent over the street level balcony you could see a smidge of sea.
