Its an old Toll House on the Swedish side of the border - a bit complex and like AirBnB, stuff lying here and there. When driving from Helsinki to Kilpisjarvi, its good location to stay overnight - my alternative would be a night train to Kolari - but from here I can start earlier. The landlady is very nice and helpful. They have a sauna, for which I didnt pay extra. The rooms are very nice, got a good nights sleep!
My rooms were upstairs, but had to use toilets downstairs

It is a B&B - at least in my case. I had a double room at the first floor.

Boendet är enkelt såtillvida att det inte finns vatten, toalett eller dusch på rummet. Servicen är mycket vänlig och hjälper gärna till att lösa olika praktiska problem.
Det man saknar är just de moderna bekvämligheterna, men förutsättningarna saknas i byggnaden som är en gammal tullbyggnad.
