Loved our stay at Del Sol! The location was quiet and peaceful with a beautiful view and unbelievable snorkeling right outside. We loved having access to bikes, kayaks, a swimming pool, snorkel gear and beach towels, and being so close to La Buena Vida. We also really enjoyed being able to cook some of our own meals.
My favorite part was the hammock on the back porch - I read an entire book out there just enjoying the view. Such a relaxing little spot in Akumal. We were sad to leave and would absolutely stay again!
Honestly, nothing! There was quite a bit of sargassum during our stay, which made the beach a little challenging, but that’s obviously beyond the property’s control. This is a clean, simple beach stay - not a fancy resort with all the bells and whistles and that’s exactly what we loved about it. It felt like an actual beach vacation.

The view was outstanding and very few bugs!
I have stayed at places with kitchen facilities and this place had th fewest dishes/glasses/cups. So if there are 4 dishes, there should be at least 4 of everything else, plates, bowls, small plates, big bowls and water glasses, drink glasses, wine glasses, dessert plates. All of it. Inadequate here.

Location is calm, right in front of the beach, beautiful view, apartment well sorted, good shower, the restaurant and swimming pool next door is great, you could rent bikes
AC could work out a little better, but it was not so bad
