I booked a room that would be ideal for someone with a mobility problem and ive stayed before in another room which was ideal.
The room allocated this visit wasnt ideal for me as the bathroom flooded when you showered so using the bathroom afterwards was a hazzard,
Even using the broom to try clear floor it didnt help.
The bathroom smelt of drains which i also reported to a member of staff when i reported the bathroom and also that the shower head needed to be looked at as it wasnt staying in its holder when you showered so you had to hold it to shower.
There was a covered BBQ outside my room and because it was windy it made a noise all night and sounded like someone was trying the door.
The light on the walkway was on all night and the curtains in room wasnt long enough to block out the light,

Lovely staff - very welcoming and helpful. Beautiful large room, excellent shower room and very clean. Exceeded expectations. Very well designed.
Breakfast was great in the cafe next door. They’ve thought of everything, in such an historic building. Very impressed.
Parking area is a little small, yet we never had problems parking very close in local roads. Easy! There are electric vehicle chargers - again a lovely thing to have, yet not something we needed.
