It was clean, safe, offered events and felt like a community. Great place for solo backpackers.

I liked the location and the view from the roof, that was simply amazing, hands down the best view I have ever had in any accommodation. I liked that it was relatively clean and there where rules in place that were enforced and established that it was quiet and nice at night. I liked the friendliness of the staff, who were very helpful and just decent human beings altogether. Nice!
It would be very easy to make the stay a lot more convenient for quite a low effort: install clothing racks for outdoor clothes in the rooms, likewise a place to hold stuff in the bathrooms, like a shelf. Shower gel/soap dispensers in the shower would be nice, as would extra reading lights above each bed. But if there is only one thing I would change, then I would DEFINITELY change all the lightbulbs from the dead cold blue light to warm whites. Blue light wakes people up, makes you physically feel cold and is a complete vibe killer (facts). When small things like these get better, the world will be a better place. And especiall the world of Summer House Brisbane. :-)
