Location - 5 minute walk to Central Station, 10 minute walk to CBD. Breakfast was basic but adequate to get through the morning without wasting time/money on a local cafe.
The Ensuite room was musty smelling. The shower was mostly clean, but had a lot of missing grout/caulking with black-looking residue in the cracks. That may have been the source of the musty smell.

I have stayed here before and came back because it's one of the best hostels I've stayed in. It's just a few minutes walk from Central Station, has a pool and nice outdoor areas to sit, and I love the free all day coffee and included breakfast. Staff were super friendly and helpful as well.
I was a bit disappointed with the bathrooms on this visit, the first shower I used had basically no hot water and the tap was falling off. I also found the showers a bit dirtier than the last time I stayed. The bed wasn't super comfortable either.

Good value for money. Location was handy to CBD and public transport. Easygoing and atmosphere and helpful staff. Room was clean and nice to live in.
We enjoyed our stay overall.
The room was a bit noisy at night due to noise in common areas below our room.
Fan in aircon in the bedroom was making a noise, toilet was dripping water. Towels a bit un absorbent. No hanging space for clothes except clothes drying rack.

Location is great, bed was comfortable and the staff was very kind and welcoming.
Very noisy, room (104) was near shared bathrooms therefore constant doors shutting and banging was not pleasant to sleep. The room had a musty smell and the water pressure was very poor.
