The food in the morning was excellent and the hospitality from the workers was amazing too. Location to the slopes was perfect too.
My only complaint was the beds. They were comfortable enough to get a full night sleep. I have a bad back so my back hurt and felt tight in the morning. Otherwise it was perfectly sufficient

Tracey and Paul and all of their staff were lovely and the snacks and Paul’s life hacks about where to park at the different hills were invaluable. The downstairs area is a great place to relax. Having a kettle in the room was fantastic. Very close to the ski school but weirdly the ski school is in a bad place for beginners as the only runs back down to kokusai lift are black or an icy cat track. It is close to ski out when there is snow but about a 6 -7 minute walk to the lift in the am.
The beds were rather hard and ”springy”, and the hot water was intermittent during a shower.

Breakfast was good. Nice lounge. Excellent location steps from the hill. Hosts were friendly and helped give us rides. Room was big and spacious. Shower and tub in the washroom. NIce 80s charm while being in excellent condition

Paul and Tracey are wonderful hosts and lead a lovely team of staff who are all so friendly, helpful and polite. The breakfast was delicious and different each day.
On our first day I accidentally left my wallet and passports in the Uber car. The uber app was useless as it didn’t allow contact the driver. Tracey rang all the local companies and tracked down the driver who then brought back my bag with all my passports cards and cash inside!
The lodge is a very short walk to ski lifts and an easy (down hill) walk to Hakuba village. Paul also drove us back to the bus depot with our luggage on our last day
There wasn’t a fire place for relaxing by after skiing
