Perfect location for going to the town nearby and down to the boat tours or going the other way to lighthouse and nature trails and to see horses! Was just the right size for a couple to stay at night too

Clean. Comfy. Cozy. Quiet. Love it! Owner is very responsive and considerate. Advice to future travelers -- if you plan to go to Assateague Island and walk any of the wooded trails, be sure you have lots of effective mosquito repellant! Food (crab cakes!) and service at A.J.'s on the Creek were quite good.

This was the perfect place to stay for a quiet and relaxing getaway. The cottage is comfortable and private, yet located close to everything. It seemed even better being set back off of the main road.

The cottage was very comfortable and was perfect for the two of us for our two day visit to Chincoteague. It was very clean and had been very well renovated. We did not do any cooking while there but we could have as it had all of the necessities.

This was a perfect stay for myself, my daughter and 2 granddaughters. Although the cottage is small, it was plenty of space for the 4 of us and there are 2 wonderful decks to enjoy the outside too. The location was great and we enjoyed walking to the carnival, watching the pony parade, and going for an evening bike ride. Communication with the owner was easy and prompt. We will definitely look at staying again next time we visit Chincoteague!

We had an awesome time visiting this fantastic little cottage. Easy drive to the beach and surrounding area. Great screened in porch for a great view of the sunset. Perfect for a getaway for a couple.

This is a great place to stay on the island, its very central to everything and was very close to the marina and main street. The home was perfect for my wife and I's 12th anniversary vacation. I hope to rent again next year! Thanks for letting us stay in your wonderful home!

Jesse’s little cottage is the perfect Chincoteague weekend getaway. It’s set back far enough to be hidden from noise and tons of people, but only a short walk to the water to enjoy a beautiful sunset. The location and cottage itself is the perfect embodiment of Chincoteague. We will definitely be returning.

So, the process of arranging this trip was super simple and I will continue to use. My significant other was supposed to join me on this trip but had a family emergency and ended up going to NY. The neighborhood was quiet, minus my morning wake up calls from the seagulls and George and Martha, the ducks.

Nice sized house, very clean, well decorated. Wonderful screened-in front porch; love the hammock chairs! Enjoyed the sun on the porch and short walk to see the sunset on the water. Big yard, quiet neighborhood. Kitchen has all that you need for meals. Comfortable living room couches, nice bedroom. We very much enjoyed our stay.

We booked this place for a quick little getaway. The place was very clean and just a block off of Main Street. We were able to bring our kayaks and bikes which is why we like VRBOs. Would definitely recommend for a couples retreat .

Dear Friends! This is the place to be to relax and enjoy the beginning of Spring. The home was perfect and easy to get around the island to enjoy our time away from the rat race. Yes, it was off season, right before the crowd's rule! No traffic, pleasant views and time to explore, wow, it was a peaceful time and We enjoyed it. Control burn on Assateague Island was new and exciting to understand. Taking the tour at sunset was a great time. The town was lightly open, so plan to look around for a place to eat and shop. Our Host was most enjoyable to deal with! Thanks Jesse!!!

Really enjoyed the stay and will definitely plan for another future visit at the same location. The accommodations were better than expected. The cottage is in a convenient, quiet location and has easy access to downtown. The beach is minutes away. Enjoyed daily wildlife visits from critters like a fox, deer and bald eagle. Loved the chairs on the front porch!

My partner and I had an amazing time in Chincoteague and absolutely enjoyed our stay at the cottage! We spent a lot of the time out at the national refuge or exploring the shops downtown but the cottage was the perfect place to unwind from a busy shopping day or a long walk on the beach. We spent a majority of our time sitting on the porch in the macrame hanging chairs enjoying the sunset and the night sky!

This cottage is just perfect for a few days away and has everything you could need for a comfortable stay. It was hot during our stay, but the air conditioner kept the cottage perfect. The outside deck and porch were enjoyable and that sunset at the top of the street was breathtaking!! Will surely return!!!
