About this house rental
Nestled in Chincoteague Island, this charming house for $200 per night is a great option for your next trip. Relax and enjoy nature in our home with a light and airy coastal feel in every room. Get away from the sights and sounds of traffic and city chaos in our private, secluded cul-de-sac location. Take a peek at the water through the trees from our private, second floor deck. Listen to the song birds, ducks, toads and frogs all flourishing in the undeveloped lots surrounding our property. A short walk away - Historic Downtown & Island Creamery Recently upgraded entire HVAC system, which now includes both a Carrier electronic air purifier and a Remi Halo LED purifier to further protect our guests’ health while also ensuring their comfort in the home. Pack-n-Play (portable crib) and high chair available for your convenience. Kitchen is fully stocked with stoneware dinnerware, dishwasher, and four burner dual oven stove, as well as a fully stocked spice cabinet. Additionally, there is a large outdoor gas grill with side burner. Beach chairs, skim board, body boards, beach buckets and shovels are all kept in the backyard shed for everyone's beach days. For those that have forgotten a bill before rushing out the door on vacation, or those remembering an urgent eBay auction ending during vacation, a computer and wifi are provided as well. Check-In Saturday after 4PM. Check-Out Saturday before 10AM. Peak season ( June 1 - August 31, 2024 and May 31 - August 30, 2025), minimum stay is 7 nights. Off season minimum stay is 2 nights.

My childhood friends and I, along with our kids, had a lovely stay in this Chincoteague beach house. We loved the outdoor shower, screened in porch, and the secluded feel of the home. The neighborhood was nice and quiet too. We were comfortable overall, though felt a bit organization and upgrading of the games, beach supplies, linens, and kitchenware could go a long way! Thanks so much for your hospitality!

We had a wonderful time. The house is very well taken care of, very clean and in a quiet neighborhood. Plenty of outdoor space for kids to run around, too. The owner was quick to respond when we had questions. Definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay, everything was clean and in good order. The house was spacious and not particularly visible to the neighbors. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had nice appliances and a good supply of basics for cooking. Our only complaint was some of the bedside/reading lights were really cold and bright. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

Enjoyed our stay. Good location. Beds very comfortable, plenty of towels. Had to clean porch of cobwebs, sweep porch floor, had food crumbs, etc. on porch floor, bench and chair cushions. Good amount of sand on inside door floor mats and floor. Otherwise very clean.

We enjoyed the house, but thought it a bit expensive for the size. That said, everything there was high-quality and well-maintained.
On the day of checkout, we were running late. At ten minutes past checkout time there was a very loud, aggressive knock on the door. The woman at the door was livid that we were checking out late, very angry. I explained we'd run into trouble (my husband was sick) and I was sorry, and that she could charge me the extra fee for leaving late.
All I got back was more anger and "rules are rules". We rushed to get out, forgot some things, and even my kids were upset by the interaction.
I get that they have a lot of houses to clean but that is not how you treat someone who just shelled out THOUSANDS of dollars to stay there. We will not be renting from you again. This is our sixth year at Chincoteague and I've never experienced anything like that.
Work on your customer service skills, even when you're angry. We all get frustrated sometimes, but things happen that are outside of people's control.

This property was perfect for our family getaway. It was such a relief that we didn’t have to worry about packing in the car the million things needed for a toddler and infant. The included high chair, pack and play, beach towels, and beach toys made our trip so much easier and enjoyable. Even though it was one of the busiest weeks on the island the house was peaceful and relaxing. Would definitely book again.

Restful enjoyable home
We very much enjoyed our stay in Chincoteague. The home was immaculate, comfortable, well-located, and very well equipped.
During our stay we hiked on the Woodland Trail within National Wildlife Refuge and spotted two herds of wild ponies. After that, we walked along Assateague Beach which was a highlight! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

House is perfectly situated within walking distance of the nature preserve and to the high school which offers spectacular sunset views. The house is loaded with games for all ages, has a lovely screened porch and a second floor sun deck. We loved having the trundle beds upstairs for flexibility in sleeping arrangements. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Thank you

Perfect Getaway
We took advantage of the first warm weather of the season and were luck to find this house for a mid-week stay at the last minute as it's usually pretty booked. Everything was as advertised-- it's all good. Loved the fireplace, the kitchen was well stocked, and the location was very quiet. We'd certainly rent again.

Pleasant bungalow surrounded by marsh grass
This is a very comfortable house. We had a great visit, and enjoyed the fireplace (instead of the screened porch, since it was cold!). We were concerned to see all the bikes outside on the drive-way when we arrived; hope they don't disappear. Thank you for a good weekend away!

The Absolute Best
Couldn’t have picked a better place for our family to stay on our duck hunting weekend! This place offers everything you need for adults and kids! When we weren’t duck hunting, the kids rode the bikes, we played games, and enjoyed the fireplace! The beds are super comfy! The house sits in its own little spot with a beautiful yard! My best friends came up and they do a lot of star photos and said this has been the best place they could see the stars ever! We all can’t wait to come back! Thank you for a perfect stay!

Perfect quiet retreat
We've stayed at many vacation rentals and this one was the first one that actually felt like a 'home'. The property is immaculately kept, tucked well away from noise and filled with everything you could possibly need for cooking, entertainment and relaxation (especially that porch swing!) Thank you!

The house is very cute and very private. The bedrooms are accommodating for your whole family. We loved being in a culdesac so the kids could play in the evening. The kitchen is well stocked for all your needs. Michelle was wonderful getting back to us with questions.
