The host was incredibly kind and patient in answering all my questions. He welcomed me in person and helped me a lot.
The apartment was extremely clean and well-equipped with air conditioning and a washing machine. The kitchen also had plenty of cookware for preparing meals. It was very spacious and comfortable to stay in.
In terms of location, it is excellent and not far from the main tourist spots—at most a 20-minute walk.
Please note that the apartment is located on a hillside, so be prepared to walk up and down stairs or steep slopes when going out.
Also, there is only one air conditioner in the entire apartment, which is located in the living room. The bedroom does not have air conditioning, but since the temperature drops at night, it wasn't a major issue.

We rented three apartments for a family of 8. The host greeted us upon arrival. He was very pleasant and gave us a quick overview of each apartment. He also made several recommendations so we would enjoy our visit more. The shared courtyard was lovely and we sat out and visited each night. We appreciated that the rooms were all comfortable and the property was very quiet as well.
We arrived in Lisbon via train from Porto. On Google maps it looked like a reasonable walk from train station to apartment but because of the hills it was a very hard walk with very steep inclines. They were impossible for the older travelers in our party and we ended up getting them a ride on a golf cart. The rest of us barely made it up the hills. Not the fault of the apartment/Host but would have been good to know beforehand that walking from train station is not a good option. Only complaint about apartment is that the bathrooms were on the small side (even by European standards).

Very central location. Bedrooms stayed relatively cool despite no direct air conditioning (only aircon unit is in the living room). Nice secluded outdoor area. Had the location been more accessible, we would have happily stayed for the 10 days that we planned.
Although central, the property is located up a very steep hill with very narrow sidewalks. This proved untenable for me: I could not walk down to the main square in the area where the metro station is. after some deliberation, we decided to go home early.
We had booked for 9 nights but stayed for only 3. When I explained the situation to the host, he was very understanding and he said that someone from the administration office would contact me (he did not specify about what exactly). On hte morning of our departure, the host asked whether I had heard anything yet. I told him no and he reiterated that someone would contact me later.
I heard nothing. I texted the host a number of times in the days after our departure and he did not respond at all. During our stay, he responded fairly quickly whenever I texted him with a question, so this lack of response stands out.
