Nice place but no value for money

Location

Expensive. Room wasn’t serviced daily even though it should have been. And I was charged an additional $10 per day for parking. ($50 in total) (Which would have been FREE if I had booked direct with the Quest, rather then threw bookings.com, but I wasn’t aware of this until check in)

Very clean. Very Quiet. Lovely staff.

Fold out couch was very poor. No foam or padding. Springs were visible and very easy to feel. Cleaners added a doona for a little bit of comfort. Do not choose for adult to sleep on or older child.

Great place to stay, amazing staff

The staff went above and beyond granting us early check in after an early morning flight. They were kind and understanding.

The king bed was 2 singles together but clearly nothing to bridge them so there was a hard Ridge in the middle which was uncomfortable.

Brilliant as always, thank you for another great stay.

Everything ; staff are very kind and helpful, room was very comfortable and well equipped, parking just underneath and whole is located barely a few steps away from the main shopping area so everything is to hand. Was my second stay in a week so, as I have said before, I love Quest and stay with it whenever possible!

It was perfectly suited to our needs!

Location, apartment size and comfort, wrap around balcony, wonderful views, in-apartment facilities, location to stores, cafes all within walking distance!

Maybe furnishings need a little updating soon.

As I write this I'm back after a week up north!

Very well sited but a short walk away from both the main CBD and the shoreline (The Strand) which both offer nice shops and pkenty of restuarants. Room exceptionally comfortable and well equpeed and staff wonderful if you need anything else. I just love Quest and stay whenever that is an option.

Everything was wonderful - thank you for a great stay.

the doonas on the beds were good. I hate it when motels just put sheets on beds. however, the pillows were hard.

Would definitely return to both Townsville and this hotel

Great location, fabulous staff, walk to shopping and eateries

A little noisy at night (road traffic and street party people nearby) however with all windows and doors closed you couldn't hear it

The suite had a funky smell.. there were no views. Some of the items in the room were if poor quality and not good value for the pricing charged

Reception were pleasant and facilities were very clean. Car park was secure.

The cardio equipment in the gym did not work which was very disappointing as we were hoping to sleep-in and exercise during the day (when it was too hot outside). The lighting in the BBQ area did not work therefore we had to call security to organise some lighting to eat our dinner. While it was understandable that the cleaning staff did not service rooms on the public holidays it would have been very useful to have extra washing liquid, laundry detergent etc. to use for the days that there was no service.

staff Kim was very rude . Tv was out of order in the room which was given , there were no internet signals in that room . I requested for outside room for better internet service as I was travelling for work but Kim refused and shouted at me for any change over by saying there is no availability but when I literally cried and asked for manager she started looking and found a room on outer road side of quest building,and she gave me that room with by saying that you will help urself I won’t move your stuff to other room . it was very stressful stay . this lady was not helpful at all and ruined my trip . Emma and Lowe were nice and well mannered receptionists .many thanks to both of them. I raised concerns with manager at check out .

Great for a short stay and reasonably priced. Handy to eating places.

Spacious room handy to what I needed. Adequate utensils and facilities, Fairly quiet.

Arrangement of lounge area was tight, coffee table way too big for room size.

Clean and quiet. Close to esplanade.

Listing had sea view ticked. This was not accurate. Travellers should note they mean EITHER sea view or pool view. Not impressed by this.

The receptionist, Lou, was very helpful, friendly and efficient, she even remembered us from our previous visit. Check in and out was very quick and easy.
