Horrific place and a total scam - avoid at all costs!!!

Couldn't like literally anything - we left this property thoroughly disappointed and feeling like we have been to a third world country. Some post-war areas we have visited are offering a higher quality experience for tourists.

Our trip to this place was a horror. When we arrived we encountered 1) a broken wardrobe, 2) a broken mirror, 3) protruding cables, 4) yellow stains on the towels, 5) broken tiles in the bathroom, 6) a chewing gum stuck on the bed frame, 7) food rests around the kitchen sink, 8) hole on the leather couch, 9) broken shower (which was quickly replaced by the host), 10) leaky toilet tank (which was repaired by the host), 11) sticky floor (which was cleaned again by the host), 12) a rusty cloth hanger, 13) mould on the lights in the bedroom, 14) broken laundry machine which would run perpetually, failing to end the laundry program. The place is owned by a certain individual in the UK called Philip Michael James and managed by a bulgarian company called "Bulgarian Home Care".

Reacharging

The location is great, not far from the beach, and it has all the necessary utilities. The view from the balcony was great, perfect way to wake up or to stay at the end of the day to relax.

There was a problem for a day and a half with running water, but it was a problem in all Kavarna not from the location itself.

Not what we were expecting

There was not much to like about the place. The only decent things were the pool, the main terrace, the well equipt kitchen, the living room, and we had two bathrooms.

The kitchen drain smelled really bad, we had two bathrooms but half of toilet paper roll for each one of them for our whole stay, the bed was uncomfortable and hurt my back and neck, the showerhead in one of the bathrooms was broken, the drying rack was small, rusted and unusable, some of the towels had dark stains on them and not all of us had one big and one small towel.

Nice view and close to the beach

The view from the terrace, the pool, the spacious living room in the one bedroom apartment

We arrived quite late, so we were charged 20 BGN extra for someone to meet us on arrival and give us the keys. I never saw this additional fine on the description of the property when I was making the booking. When we arrived - there were lots ants on the balcony and they kept getting inside the living room even though we kept cleaning. The toilet syphon was partially broken and kept making an irritating noise. There was rubbish in the bucket inside the cabinet under the toilet sink. The toiletries left in the bathroom were kept to the bare minimum (a few sashes of shampoo/shower gel mix), but we were really surprised with the lack of soap in the apartment. The elevator was broken one day and after being “fixed” the lights inside were not working properly. Additionally, the lightbulbs were broken in both bedside table lamps the bedroom.

Wonderful - Beyond our expectation

Absolutely everything. Very clean, big rooms, confortable beds and wonderful view, the apartment has everything you need from towels, shampoo, soap, forks, spoons, glasses to a washing machine and everything else you need. You can park your car in front of the property. And the main room has the bathroom in the room like in hotels and the second bathroom is in the hall. Kavarna City Beach is very near and very nice. The restaurants also are near.

Nothing. Everything was beyond our expectation.

Superb

The unit is a large two-bedroom, two-bathroom penthouse apartment, situated on a hillside, with an amazing sea view from every room and the terrace. It is properly furnished and quite clean, the kitchen is fully equipped, the living/dining room and the terrace are huge, the elevator is opening directly into the apartment using the provided remote control. The staff is friendly and helpful. The swimming pool is rather small, but it's nice and clean, and there are an well-equipped fitness room and a sauna in the building, too. The neighborhood is quiet and full of greenery, and although this part of Kavarna seems rather deserted and neglected, there is a silver lining to it: you can hear no other sounds but bird chirping all day round. I would definitely come back anytime!

Wonderful view and space

Everything else was great and we'll thought: the view, the space and facilities, the pool, the fact that we had 2 bathrooms at our disposal. We were 5 girls so this was a plus.

There were some russian guests that were very rude, they were even aggressive. There was a birthday party for us and I said that from the beginning so of course we were a little more in a party mood. The mixt between people who want quiet and people who come there to party is not their fault, the property should take that in consideration.

Very good

Very large place, great for a family, spectacular view over the sea,privacy, a large bathtub in the master bedroom 2 baths.Availabily of administrator for later check in and instructions over the phone.

Some sheets looked not so clean,the matresses on the beds are torn and very used and look very bad. There were ants in the appartment and a lot of little flies. More attention needs to be paid to the cleaning,new matresses on the beds and solutions for insects in the appartment.As well,the large bathtub needed more cleaning and disinfecting from us.

Exceptional

The apartment is huge with a lot of balconies, very clean and fully equiped. The view is amazing. The pool is very nice. We really liked it!
