Food was excellent. We had breakfast and dinner there. Very fresh food.
The rest was all a bit average. Nothing necessary bad/wrong, but a little bit more attention from staff outside meal times would have been appreciated.
Pool could/should be cleaned more often.

The hotel, the facilities and the location is really nice. The balcony and room are big, spacious and really clean and the view from the balcony is stunning! The food was amazing: very tasty and good portions. The staff was friendly.
The staff was really trying, but it all felt a bit untrained. Requests directed to the manager needed to be repeated couple of times. There was no welcoming, no explanation of the property, activities, how the breakfast works, and so on. Nothing. We got the feeling that the manager showed some kind of attitude towards us, he seemed unbothered, distant and cold. We were really confused by his attitude. We would describe ourself as simple, not-demanding guests, but for that price and the four-star-rating, this is just not enough! The pool was unusable during our stay because it was dirty. The tuktuk which we ordered to get us to the next place (ordered by the manager) costed MUCH more in the end, than agreed upon.
