L’emplacement, l’accueil du personnel et du patron , le côté Robinson Crusoe, le calme, la plage parfaite pour se baigner sans risque, les transats chaises longues et hamacs les pieds dans le sable face au soleil couchant sur l’océan.
Le matelas est un peu dur pour moi, les équipements (salle de bain , fenêtres et moustiquaires ) un peu vieillissant. Il mériterait un bon chef dans la cuisine .

The location - a beautiful beach set setting far from the madding crowd.
A part from the location - everything. No warm welcome - which made us feel so unwelcome. Room was basic - that’s ok but the bathroom was filthy. No toiletries as advertised - none arrived even when requested. No towels - again had to ask. One light - the other had no bulb - again we requested it and it did not arrive.
We felt the place was unloved - it could be so wonderful with tidying up, fixing all the broken things - a warm welcome.
Even at breakfast - we were told ‘from 7.30am’ - so we went to the little dining room - no one about. No one appeared for an hour. Breakfast was fine but it put us off having dinner there so we spent our evenings at Windy waves resort where they had a much better ambience, food, cocktails.
As we left, the owner was quite humble and I do feel guilty writing this review - but it has to be said. I am not asking for a lot - just the basics, clean and everything that is advertised - and most important of all - a big warm Sri Lankan welcome.
