Central location.
Kitchen was sufficiently equipped for what I needed and with good instructions.
Nice paintings on the walls.
Room was correct, I thought it would be a bit cold but it was not in the end. People were respectful. There was noise from the street but this we can do nothing about.
Whatsapp group for community exchange and activities is a great idea, I appreciated.
I would have liked to have free access to a place were to store sensitive documents or valuables, specially as the room doors were not closed with a key or code. Or information to bring a padlock if I wanted to (maybe the info was shared and I missed it).

The location is great for a city trip, you can definitely walk to all sightseeing things and tours. I stayed in room 11 which was only 4 bed even though I booked 5 bed which was great! A lot of space!
All other rooms except room 11 seemed very small. The bathroom is ok, the shower on the top floor was horrible, you couldn’t close the glass door… also nothing for tall people.
Also, the staff seemed very uninterested, the hostel wasn’t really clean (not dirty either) but it definitely need some rework (new mattress, renovating the shower, deep clean kitchen, better area to eat, like tables are missing,..). I mean Tromso is expensive but if I would be the owner (and price my dorm at 100€+) I would like to create a nice and cozy home for the youth which book hostels not this mediocre hostel.
