The only way you could stay closer to the beach would to be on a pier! The Sandbar is right on the beach and within walking distance of everything in San Pedro town.
The mattresses were very comfortable. The blankets weren't great but the only reason that matters is because the a/c was amazing. It was actually a lifesaver in the high heat and humidity. (I'm from the desert, we're not used to that!) PIllows were decent. You can get extra blankets and pillows if you ask and catch the right person at the right time. :)
Kitchen facilities were good. Nice to have a fridge/freezer for ice and leftovers (the portions from the restaurant are huge!) There is bottled water available and a kettle for hot water.
Bring a flashlight in case of a lost of power. We had one brief power outage but I think they have a backup generator and we got power back in less than 1/2 an hour.
Can't think of anything I didn't like. There are even cats to pet!

Everyone was super cool and awesome. Beautiful property and right on the sand. New bathrooms and the beds don’t squeak 🤣. Air conditioning and plenty of plugs. Great view of the ocean from the 4th floor baller pool
