Perhaps the best feature of the place was the staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful that made it up for the bits that were not so good. Congratulations to the staff. Breakfast was good. It would have been nice to have jam for the bread. But it was good enough. Excellent if you like lots of cakes for breakfast.
the whole place needs a bit of upgrading. Rooms are very basic and furniture needs a bit of modernizing. We needed to change rooms half way, due to a power failure affecting several rooms. The first room needs new curtains. the one there is not black out and the sun shines through very early in the morning. The toilet was blocked when we arrived. Despite a prompt action from staff to resolve the problem as soon as we reported it, I was surprised that the blockage was not pick by the cleaning staff once they cleaned the toilet prior to our arrival. The second room we stayed in was larger but also needs serious upgrading. The walls in the shower area are very dirty.
The pictures on the booking site do not really reflect the real state of the place.
