Really clean and easy to find on the tram line

Connected to the city center via tram. The room was pretty clean, but i did not expect perfection. Not the biggest room, but it did the job well for a quick stay. The staff were trying to be helpful but we had limited interaction.
They advertise extended check out until 18h for 15 eur, in the elevators. At the front desk they ask for 15 eur to extend until 15h and 30 eur to extend until 18h.

The hotel itself was very good. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and overall we were happy with the accommodation. Unfortunately, our experience with the staff was rather disappointing.
When we arrived and wanted to use the hotel garage, we were asked quite sternly about the height and length of our car. I understand completely why this information is needed, especially to make sure the car fits safely into the garage. However, the whole interaction felt quite impersonal. The staff were not exactly rude, but the welcome lacked warmth and friendliness. It felt more like they were simply carrying out their duties rather than making guests feel welcome.
We had a similar experience at breakfast. When we arrived, the lady there told us that breakfast was not included because it was not shown on her list. Since my booking confirmation clearly stated that breakfast was included, I explained this to her, and she then went to the reception desk to clarify it.
The issue was not that there had been a misunderstanding, these things can happen. What made the situation uncomfortable was the way it was communicated, especially in front of other guests. A simple sentence such as, “Let me double-check this for you, there may be a mistake in our system,” would have made a big difference. Instead, we were left feeling as though we had to justify why we were there for breakfast.
Overall, the hotel was clean and comfortable, and the facilities were good. However, I think the staff could benefit from some additional training in guest communication and hospitality. I have experienced much warmer and more personal service even in small privately run hotels, so I had expected a little more from an established hotel brand such as IBIS.
