The location is perfect. Quite near to train and bus stations, relatively close to Grand Canal. Still enough away from the noisiest turist areas which is good because the apartment is very quiet and peaceful at night time. Bathroom and the kitchen are in very good condition and the shower is warm. Owner is very nice and helpful and answers quickly to any queries.
You might want to bring wool socks, slippers or similar since stone floors are bit cold in the colder seasons. Or maybe I'm just used to over heated houses in Finland ;) Summer time this shouldn't be any issue. There's not much to see from the windows, but most likely you'll be wandering around the city anyway. :)

The school children in schoolyard added extra home feel. Apartment well furnished, with room to spread out in. Off of beaten path by 3-5 minute comfortable walk. Learned our way around without much hassle- no need of a map for local neighborhood. Safe, even when walking at 2300 hrs. Campo Margherita 5 min away and a must to experience for late nite dinner 2100 hrs.
Pictures were furnished of local street and apartment. Maybe also 1 or 2 pictures of bus station and direction to walk should be added to info package, since bus station is hectic, and we couldnt find street signs on the buildings right off. We got turned around for 10 minutes ,but quickly got straightened out.
