Super vriendelijk personeel (Al). Superschone en nette kamers. Een prachtige omgeving met heel veel mooie planten en bomen en super wifi. Ontbijt en diner waren ook prima dus je hoefde niet iets in de buurt te zoeken.

La localisation est top ! Des rizières à couper le souffle tout autour de l’hôtel. Le personnel a été très gentil et attentif.
Ijen étant fermé nous sommes allé chez un local qui nous a présenté ses productions, nous avons eu un réel coup de cœur !
Un tout petit peu bruyant la nuit lors des prières (ça résonne dans la vallée) mais on s’y accommode

Nous avons passé un super séjour. L’hôtel et la vue sont magnifiques et très bien entretenu. L’endroit est vraiment apaisant. Les chambres sont très grandes et confortable et le personnel était au petit soin.

Gorgeous gardens and pool. Incredible views.
The setting is completely ruined by the fact that the hotel is located right beside a village that blasts music all day from the early morning until late evening. There are literally people sized speakers facing the resort, centimetres from the pool and rooms. We did the Ijen climb at night, arriving back to blaring music at 8am that was so loud the rooms vibrated from the bass. We got no sleep and could not enjoy the pool. The manager - a lovely man - is well aware of the problem and contacted local authorities but to no avail. It would just start again.
So basically, until such time as the hotel management has resolved this conflict with their direct neighbours, would avoid this resort if you are looking for an idyllic nature retreat (as it is being sold online). Such a shame, so much potential at this beautiful spot.
