We lived absolutely everything: big, modern, cosy cottage in a lovely quiet place close to Akureyri.

This is a beautiful relatively new house overlooking the fjord to Akureyri. It is just a 3 minute drive to the restaurants and the harbor in town but it feels 1,000 kilometers away! The house has all the necessary amenities including a full kitchen and a hot tub with a great view. It is perfect for a couple.

Very quiet, roomy, and close to forest lagoon. Nice view.

We had to call when we arrived at 7:30 to get the lock box code. The gentleman had a hard time finding our reservation. The toilet seat was loose and difficult to use, the French press didn’t have a plunger, & there are no restaurants close.
