Clearly a great deal of effort has gone in to the restoration of the Grand Maison so that the interior is comfortable authentic and charming.
The welcome by Ben was greatly appreciated as was his help in booking a place nearby for evening meal.
We found our tour of the building very informative.
Clearly an excellent place for a small event or retreat.
For our intended stay as a B&B stopover for a journey down through France the location is a little remote from then facility nearby towns.
The overall effect of the very appropriate decor and furnishing of our room was a bit let down by some small imperfections, a loose door handle, a non functioning extract,, a stiff door lock.

Loved this place. It’s a labour of love for super Billie and Ben who gave us the guided tour, very interesting! I even made friends with the cat!

Location. Good breakfast.
Empty fridge on arrival. No-one to greet us on arrival. Overgrown gardens and flower pots and rose bushes. The whole place looked tired and unloved.
