Lovely greeting from the owner who advised on parking. My son found space across the road for free parking but I missed it and several more during our two day stay. Was advised that free Saturday parking was nearby so took that option. All car parks are very near so it's not a problem.
Loved the decor with the furniture and a real log fire that was lit at night. I enjoyed some time there myself.
Breakfast was delicious and filling and a good choice on the menu. I chose a full breakfast but my son chose scrambled eggs and bacon the second day. Absolutely filling and offered more toast and the marmalade and blackcurrant preserve was too class. The coffee was a strong lavazza?
The bedroom was set out with nice good quality products and a lovely spacious shower cubicle.
The property is very well located for all amenities.
Going home 😂 in a storm

Great Breakfast

Christine was lovely and welcoming. The place was spotless and warm as the temperature outside dropped. The location is well placed and very close to the town centre which is easily accessible. The breakfast was plentiful and excellent ingredients and the bathroom was very spacious.
Plugs - maybe with a few USB ports as we have hearing aids plus electronics to plug in overnight. Stairs to the second floor a wee bit of a challenge to the elderly but there are twin beds on other floors too which we will go for. There is no dedicated parking, but we managed to get a space okay on the street outside.
