My wife and I stayed in Aryatara Hotel for a week on our first visit to Nepal. The hotel is in an ideal location on a quiet lane within easy walking distance to the heart of Thamel. It offers very comfortable, clean and spacious rooms and the buffet breakfast is a generous and wonderful mix of continental and Nepalese foods. The restaurant also offers good value and delicious meals. All staff are helpful and friendly, and the manager - ‘Mega’ went above and beyond to look after us and was very helpful in providing valuable travel and trekking advice and assisting with travel arrangements.
There was nothing that we didn’t like.

Everything was good. Had a great stay. Very good location in the heart of Kathmandu. Staffs were polite and welcoming. I would highly recommend this place.

The staff and location in Thamel is excellent.
Sometimes the floors can be loud due to children and guests.
