shower rooms not enough, may need to wait at peak hours and the shower water volume is too little, not strong enough for a comfortable and speedy shower

The reception staff were absolutely fabulous. Check in was very easy and efficient. My phone had stopped recharging via the cord so I needed to find a shop that sold a wireless cord. They went out of their way to help - even printing a map so I wouldn't lose my way. It was an easy walk from the train station past a 7-11 for easy quick, cheap food. The room was exactly as the online photos suggest. The room was lockable, clean and came with towels, soft slippers to help you be quiet, and a set of black sleeping pyjama shorts and t-shirt. I'm large so they didn't fit me, but I saw plenty of other guests wearing them. The single bed is a bit firm but I'm a camper and found it comfy. The room is set on the 7th floor within a women's only capsule space that was very quiet and dimly lit so it felt very peaceful and safe, especially as I was a woman travelling alone. The bathroom is in that area too so you can have a shower and use the loo without needing to leave the sleeping zone. There are even men's only and women's only elevators! The congee breakfast was plentiful, hot and basic, but yummy with a range of condiments served in the common area. There's unlimited drinking water accessible via a hot/warm/cold water cooler. The great bonus of the Single Inn was the gender separated hot bath, mini onsen pool which included moisturiser and shampoo and hairdryers. Sooo nice. The walls in the bathrooms were worn and mouldy from the humidity, but the floors and the rest of the bathroom and onsen were old and worn, but clean. I reckon it's a good landing spot for a night or two. Just keep your expectations accurate and you'll enjoy your stay. PS this is somehow coming up under my husband's name - but I travelled as a solo woman :)

Rooms are not well insulated and the rooms aren’t air conditioned, so it was very hot in my room
