incredible stay here, location is perfect very peaceful- outside of busy ubud but close enough to walk/scooter. the best is the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in in such a long time! beautiful area to relax and work. free water/tea/coffee. kitchen area with fridge. clean and lots of space to relax. will definitely come back! thank you so much:)

we loved it and would stay again!

beds were big, felt like you were right in the forest. the staff/family were very friendly and nice. Was a great value for your money, pretty clean.

didn’t always have supplies like toilet paper available but there is a bidet.

Great guest house with very friendly host family

Very cozy guest house. The family who runs it are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The location is great, as it is in a chill quiet neighborhood on the outskirt of Ubud.

The place could be a little cleaner, but it wasn’t bad at all.

Komang and his family were great hosts. The location is perfect, a bit far from the centre (like 20min walk) but it was perfect for us! we felt the local vibe around there. Our room was very comfortable (with AC) and clean.

If I have to pick something, I would have liked a door separating the room and bathroom!

Best guesthouse in ubud

Great place, great family helping in everything you need, there is a kitchen you can use whenever you want. Feels like a home more than an hotel! And also clean big and comfortable rooms in best price.

fantastic stuff, very helpful. there’s also a small kitchen where you can make coffee, tea or make a sandwich if you wish. i wasn’t expecting it but it was super helpful, beda are super wide and you can fit so many stuff.

Lovely homestay that invites to stay longer than planned

The homestay was lovely, I booked for 2 nights and ended up staying for 6 nights. The dorm room is clean and with quite big beds that are very comfortable. Inside your bed space there are little hooks to hang up a towel and some clothes and a individual fan for hot nights (although when I stayed the aircon was on, so we didn't use the fans). The beds all have a curtain for added privacy and the whole structure is very sturdy (someone was staying in the bed above me and I didn't notice any movement). WiFi worked well! The chilling area just outside the dorm is nice to hang out with fellow travellers and there's a fridge and kettle to store some food and make tea/coffee. There's also a water dispenser. The family that owns the homestay is lovely and invited me and my fellow dormers to a special Balinese ceremony which was super nice to experience. I liked the location cause it was outside of Ubud's busy centre and therefore quiet, but close enough to walk to (~25min by foot). All in all, I recommend this homestay!

There are two things that in my opinion could be improved: - Not all the storage space below the beds can be locked, cause some of the locks are broken. - During my stay the toilet/bathroom didn't get cleaned (except for emptying the bins) cause there was a large pile of hair that was there during my entire stay. The toilet/bathrooms weren't dirty dirty, but I would have preferred at least a quick cleaning every two or three days.

Great stay for peaceful & relaxing stay in Ubud.

Lovely guest house with wonderful hosts! Really appreciate the free water & nice kitchen there. Wifi is very good & enjoyed the terrace.

Superb

This was all I needed for my last few days in Ubud. Booked one night, ended up staying almost a week until the end of my time there. Authentically friendly and gentle hearted owner. He volunteered to drop me off where I needed to be upon departure, really sweet. My favorite thing was the garden. Such a beautiful and peaceful place to have breakfast! If you take a moment to take it all in you will see amazing fauna. Within a 5-minute timeframe I've seen a squirrel, hummingbird, black butterflies, blue butterflies, dragonflies, and some dogs and chicken haha. When you listen you will hear an orchestra of birds, crickets, aaaand chicken haha. So nice. I absolutely loved the big and soft mattress with the world's softest blanket, felt like I was sleeping on clouds. Nice bedlight (not too bright), fan (was enough to keep me somewhat cool during the night), curtain for privacy, plug (bring an extension chord should you want both fan and appliances plugged in), hooks to hang stuff (really handy!), locker under the bed. Little kitchenette and fridge. Affordable motorbike rental for only 50k per day.

My only true complaint is that the fridge desparately needs a clean-up! I won't say the things I've seen in there but I didn't feel too comfortable leaving anything there (maybe even if you have some time on your hands as a guest you could volunteer to do a clean-up?). Water jug was often empty. Water was still freely available somewhere on the premise but you'd have to go and get it with the family. Would be nice if it was replaced more frequently. Wasn't really a fan of the breakfast. Can't really complain for 15k but I've definitely had better pancakes and more fresh fruit to go with it. So ended up going out to get breakfast elsewhere instead. (the photos of breakfast are inaccurate) The bathrooms could be checked more often. Sometimes trash bins were overflowing and took a while to be emptied. Also no daily housekeeping (I personally didn't mind) so don't expect your bed to be made or changed unless you ask. No free toiletries either although it did say in the description. Just a bar of soap to wash your hands. (maybe it does apply to private rooms) Some troubles with wifi every now and then but am sure this applies everywhere in Bali. Overall I was very happy to stay here! I wish Koman and his family the best.
