good location, nice comfy room, good shared facilities. no human interaction at all except on the phone.
had a little problem , checked in late night and the code given to me did not work . I was standing on the street and no one even picked up the phone. Luckily a guest staying there opened the door for me.

Common areas were very nice. Room was a good size as well.
Kind of a strange experience. I had to follow up with the property for check in instructions. Property was huge with an airy feeling with no one around. Not a lot of information on the property provided. Probably wouldn’t recommend as a solo female traveller as you never know who will be sharing the space and there are no staff around.

Close to the local train station, it was easy to travel to Lisbon, Cascais and Sintra. The guest house is adjacent to the railway but we did not find the noise disturbing during the day and the last trains were before midnight. The shared kitchen was well equipped. There was a railway underpass close to the guest house which was useful for access to the old town and the beach>
The pillows on the bed were not very good. Some local information should be provided.
