We loved the house and its architecture. The views and the location is fantastic. We loved Berat and its beauty!
Breakfast could be better, an albanian breakfast is far more flawoured and usually the period of time is more than just an hour. A tip: First bottle of water should be free as an albanian hospitality would recommended. 😊

Everything! The hosts were so very accommodating and friendly and really wanted us to have a great experience. They have wonderful animals, the breakfast was delicious and filling, and their home is stunning. Super comfy and clean.

Absolute gem of a small boutique hotel, Aleksander & Greta have renovated this old building right in the middle of the UNESCO area of Berat to a very high standard with incredible attention to detail. The small terrace for dining was just beautiful, specifically the views across town to the mountains beyond. Food excellent, mostly from their garden, cannot fault the place. Our kids loved the cats and dog!!!

There's absolutely NO free parking at the hotel nor near by. We payed extra 10 euro for two days parking on the street about 50 meters from the hotel entrance. There's NO buffet at breakfast the owner served us his own idea of breakfast which was one egg (sunny side up, no options nor other offer) 2 slices of bread one slice of yellow cheese one slice of ham few slices of tomato one glass of orange juice two slices of some sort of cake some jam and coffee. distance from the street to the hotel entrance is about 20 meters height level difference is about 10 meters to room level. NO Elevator ! Aleksander was kind enough to help us with our one heaviest luggage, climbing the steep road up to the room was breath taking room was too small no place for luggage no cupboard, no complimentary water bottles in the room
