Well located, central, a ten minute walk to the Sealink terminal and twentyfive minutes to the other ferry terminal for Magnetic Island. Plenty of bars, restaurants and cafes in the area. Two minute walk to the Queensland Museum (interesting exhibits related to the shipwrecked Pandora and the story of the Mutiny on the Bounty). Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Laundry room is very useful. Room was fairly comfortable and maintained clean.
The room was a bit dark, being behind a wall and facing inwards toward the restaurant and swimming pool, it seems most rooms are like this. Litter bin is too small! Also, annoyingly, I couldn't switch off the air conditioning. Gets noisy Friday and Saturday nights.
