I loved Casa del lago

Lovely comfortable room. Very helpful host. Wide choice for breakfast. Location of B&B very close to sea front esplanade.

A stay at a place where even the most wonderful vistas are trumped by an incredible staff.

It is always the service that can turn a good stay into an exceptional stay. The staff were incredibly lovely, providing information, help, and a wonderful level of service that felt truly home like rather than merely a commercial transactional stay. What will strike me from my stay, is not the charming lake, the nightly electrical storms, the gorgeous food, but the exceptional service I received. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

Exceptional

Lovely hospitality and breakfast with a clean room and good shower. Our hosts gave us great advice on where to park our car and then we were close enough to walk everywhere which was perfect for us.

lovely property. spotless and peaceful

quiet, peaceful and well located, well looked after and it was spotless too. the owner was lovely. she speaks little English but we all managed just fine!

parking wasn’t always easy. there is a parking spot but as soon as you move someone else grabs it so you sometimes end up in a metered location.breakfast was a bit basic but ok.

Absolutely amazing!

Maria and her husband were so hospitable and ever so eager to help with anything we needed. The location was great, the beds were really comfortable, the room was exceptionally clean and the breakfast was like a buffet. Maria even catered for our gluten free diets! They refused to let us carry our suitcases because we were "on holidays"! They were such generous and kind hosts. We will definitely come back!

cozy place with friendly owners and great location

My stay in Baveno was great. The owner were very friendly and happy to give advice about the area. The room and bath room was very spacious and clean. The breakfast was really good and had everything you need including fresh fruits, it was also okay that I ate breakfast a little later as I like to sleep in. The location is very close to the lake and its easy to walk to the ferry for the small islands and also to the cable car in Stresa, a bus stop is also near which can take you to the next village, where its nice to take a swim. I came by train and was even picked up at the station and also brought back when I left, very thoughtful, thanks a lot! I can definitley recommend staying here.

Just small things for improvement could be having a electricity switch for the TV to save energy when not in use and instead of having the small butter portions I would prefer a bigger container to save trash and probably money as well, a bicycle for rent would have been great too.
