Superb property, the host is very welcoming, the orchard is great and you can walk through it and the breakfast is probably the best I ever had.
The only small thing I have to say is that the AC/fan situation could be improved, but that was partly made worse bc we stayed during a really hot period.

A really unique stay in the countryside with the fabulous Cesare. It’s a beautiful place to stay on a peaceful farm a short drive from the little town of Santa Venerina. Excellent hospitality and breakfast. Cesare recommended a great restaurant. Hard to fault. Great for a few days of total relaxation. Bought a few farm products. Beer, wine and snacks for sale at very reasonable prices.
Unfortunately there’s no aircon so it can be hot in the middle of summer. We overcome this by freezing bottles of water. There’s a garden shower that didn’t seem to work but Italy is experiencing a heatwave so it may be turned off to conserve water which is understandable.
