This was a gem of a place! It feels like entering an oasis. We had dinner at the hotel and it was truly excellent. Very friendly service, tasty food and perfect ambience after a busy day.
Nothing not to like! Shower floor slippery but they do warn you.

This is a sleeper of a hotel...from the outside you'd wounder....but inside a comfy nice place and my room far better than I thought it would be

We slept well, the food was okay, the bed okay - we were lucky with quiet neighbours. The fire in the dining room was great, and the ambiance there lovely.
It’s double the price it should be, both food and stay. We paid £50 for an adequate but overcooked - and somehow cold - supper. The accommodation was £105 through Booking. See the photo.
It’s not what it says it is. Technically this may be a “suites hotel” but in truth it’s just a guest house. It’s an okay guest house but if you had noisy neighbours it would probably be hell.
Just the keys for the doors were complicated - 3 similar looking keys for 3 doors to get to our “suite”. That was nine attempts in our ineptitude. But it was secure and we slept well.
If it was half the price we’d chance it again but never at the price we paid. We felt ripped off.
